hello! it's midnight again. i know i'm expected to stay up this late on saturdays (now sunday) surfing the web for idle fun, but NO!!! i'm trying to fix my stinking cd-drive!

my experience with the awful cd drive started last saturday. it ejected automatically by itself when i was surfing (at early morning), and kept repeating till i was closing the PC. and the trouble prevailed. it got worse (it looked like it's DANCING) the next following days, till now. but for the moment, it's silent.

i've been downloading virus removals, anti-spyware, and solutions left and right and i wonder if it will work. i don't know the cause of this thing but i read that has also happened to countless of others. they say it could be caused by a virus, a drive malfunction, PC problems or something else. the rubber band knocked out? or maybe DIRT? i'm not thinking of changing my CD drive or letting it be fixed... i don't exactly WANT to get my parents hysterical over the computer again, since (i think) i was the cause of its 2 past breakdowns. (me evil me!) i'm TRYING HARD TO PROTECT MY PC, OK? i've been updating the anti-virus for months now. i'm not downloading useless software... but i don't know whether the mp3s has to do with it. but for now, i'm fixing the problem myself. still working on it. wish me peace of mind. :-|
