another week was spent... and i'm finally counting the 2-weeks-or-so till my first day of college begins! i've been itching and groaning to get out of this rut last month like i'm doomed for eternity and now, there's barely a month left! ahhh.... (just so you know, my c-day's on june 15.) some of my dear friends and batchmates have already started theirs, and i'm a little bit envious (at least they've got themselves occupied now!)... how's their fresh-men (and fresh-women) experience? :-)

i, though, haven't prepared much yet for my back-to-school. no books (the profs, and i hope they're tolerable!, will have to list it), no notebooks (where have i placed the unused ones???), no pens (my "invisible" pen will scribble on my "invisible" notebook...), but i do have a bag! i'm thinking of shopping for the goods on sunday.

in different matters, i bet you're not surprised that i have already watched "star wars 3"... we thought we'd scratch the first week out because a lot of people are sure to pack it, but... uh... boredom made me squeal! i liked the movie (again, EVEN if i'm not a fan and i didn't understand much of what the hell were they fighting about) ... at last, the saga is over! i just thought anakin's descent to the Dark Side was splattered on too fast... just a couple of coaxings from 'daddykins' palpatine (i have to admit, he was very 'into' his role) and bam! the Wheezy rises! and i couldn't help but laugh a little when anakin vader said the infamous, "if you're not with me, then you are my enemy." i thought, oh my goulash, Dubya took over! well, all's said and done, and hundreds of millions are pouring in chewbacca's (i mean, georgie's) pocket... i read a comic strip today (pugad baboy), and it joked that soon after, there's gonna be remakes of "the empire strikes back", "the return of the jedi", and "a new hope"! goulash redux!
